Objectives of The Little Bulgaria
At The Little Bulgaria our objectives focus on preserving, promoting, and celebrating Bulgarian culture, traditions, and folklore among both the Bulgarian community and the wider public in the UK. We are committed to fostering a strong sense of community and belonging for Bulgarians living abroad, ensuring that our cultural heritage is sustained and passed on to future generations. Additionally, we aim to encourage cultural exchange by building meaningful connections between the Bulgarian community and other local and international groups, promoting mutual understanding and appreciation. By organizing festivals, performances, workshops, and cultural events, we strive to showcase the richness of Bulgarian heritage and contribute to the vibrant cultural diversity of Cambridge and beyond.
Obligations of The Little Bulgaria
Our obligations include ensuring the successful organization and delivery of events that authentically represent Bulgarian traditions, engaging both the Bulgarian community and the broader public. We take responsibility for creating opportunities for cultural exchange and fostering positive relationships with local groups, while promoting inclusivity and respect. At "Little Bulgaria," we are also dedicated to raising awareness of Bulgarian culture, contributing to the cultural landscape of the region. We ensure that all of our activities are accessible, enjoyable, and enriching for everyone, upholding values of inclusivity and cultural understanding in everything we do.
